On 10 April, Tohoku Rakuten Oisix Niigata 5th round match Eastern League regular season between Tohoku and Tohoku Rakuten was win 2-0 in Shinrindori Stadium Izumi.

In the first inning, Tohoku Rakuten had a chance to put runners on first and third with one out on Daisuke Nakashima 's hit and Walk, and while runner was stolen base on first base, runner at third base stole home plate to take the lead for the first run. In the bottom of the second inning, with two outs and the bases loaded on Kei Mizukami 's hit, Waterers Rikai Jumir added another run on an RBI triple.

Starting pitcher Yan-Cheng Wang pitcher pitched a perfect first inning in the first inning. He allowed hit in the top of the fourth, but struck out the next two batters to double play and closer the hitter with three runners on base in the inning. In the top of the fifth, he pinch-hit with back-to-back Walk with two outs, but he got out of the jam again and retired the side of the mound after five innings of 1 hit 2 Walk 2 strike out 2 runs on 63 pitches.

​Ryuji Komago pitcher tied the game in the top of the sixth inning with a triple, followed by Hayato Yuge pitcher in the top of the seventh and pitcher in the top of the eighth, each with runner in scoring position, but got through the runs with no runners in scoring position. Katsutoshi Tai pitcher closed out the game in the top of the ninth inning to end the game 2-0. In the Tohoku Rakuten, which was win, Nakajima played 3 hit 2 stolen base and Kohiro Komori played 2 hit. pitcher also won three consecutive races in the shutout game relay.
