On 13 July, the 16th round match between Western League regular season and Fukuoka Softbank Hiroshima was played at Tamahome Stadium Chikugo, and Fukuoka Softbank won 8-1 win.

Fukuoka Softbank In the bottom of the second inning, back-to-back singles by Yoshiyasu Sasakawa and Ayuma Nishio and a bad throw put runners on first and third with one out, and scored one run on a groundout by Shuji Kuwahara.

The starter, Yugo Bando pitcher, retired three batters in the first inning and got out of the jam with no runs in the top of the second inning with struck out runner in scoring position, but struck out the next two batters to end the inning. Starting in the third inning, he retired two inning consecutive three-way batters closer and in the fourth, he went 2 hit Hit by Pitch 3 strike out runs mound.

In the top of the fifth, pitcher Kenichi Murata, who was on second, tied the game with Shodai Uchida from third base with two outs, but the game was tied in the bottom of the fifth inning when Keio Fujino was hit by a ball from third base with one out to fielder’s choice out to win the game. With two outs and one out, Tomoya Inoue hit an RBI single from second base, and Sasakawa's doble error led to a five-run inning.

​Rodriguez pitcher in the top of the sixth with a five-run lead, Taiga Kamichatani pitcher tied the game at runs in the top of the seventh, and added one more run in the bottom of the seventh on Inoue's RBI doble. After Shuto Ogata pitcher shut down the top of the eighth inning, the Tigers scored one run in the bottom of the inning on an RBI single by Yutaro Fujita. In the top of the ninth inning, Miyazaki pitcher retired three batters closer the game to end with an 8-1 lead. In the win Fukuoka Softbank, Sasakawa scored 3 hit 2 RBI and Inoue scored 2 hit 2 RBI for a total of 13 hit 8 runs. He has decided to win the card.
