On 17 April, Western League regular season Orix vs. Chunichi 6th round match in Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium Maishima was win by Orix 5-2.
The starting pitcher is Riku Miyaguni pitcher, a second-year player. In the first inning, he was hit by a pitch with two outs, but got Seiji Kawagoe to strike out swinging struck out. In the top of the second inning, he retired three batters, and in the top of the third, he Walk 2 and runner, but he struck out No. 4 Koji Ukai. It was 2 hit 3 Walk 3 strike out no runs in the third inning.
In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 0-0 tie, Olivares Hit by Pitch and Ryoma Ikeda hit loaded the bases with no outs. Ryu Sugisawa bunted and Olivares homered in the bad throw of the inning. Kendai Moto followed with an RBI single and Jo Endo followed with a sacrifice fly to score three runs in the inning.
In the top of the fifth, Taiki Ono pitcher allowed back-to-back RBI singles from second base with two outs. When he was down by one point, he switched to Kaisei Tomatsu pitcher in third place. Higashimatsu pitcher gave Kawagoe a Walk with two outs and bases loaded, but he got a swinging struck out from Ryuku Tsuchida to protect the lead. In the top of the sixth, he retired three batters and pitched 1.1 innings of no-hit runs relief.
I'd like to see an additional Orix. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Sugisawa and Shuna Hori hit with one out and bases loaded, and back-to-back RBI singles by Jo Endo and Kosei Osato extended the lead. In the top of the ninth inning with a three-run lead, Kaito Saiki pitcher pinch-hit for second base with no outs, but closer with no runs. Osato win double-digit hit Orix with 3 hit 1 RBI and Sugisawa and Hori 2 hit.
