On 9 April, Tohoku Rakuten win won 9-3 in the Eastern League regular season fourth round match between Tohoku Rakuten and Oisix Niigata in Shinrindori Stadium Izumi.

In the bottom of the third inning, Tohoku Rakuten scored the first run of the game when Konosuke Tatsumi singled to load the bases with hit and Kengo Horiuchi hit an RBI single from third base with one out. In the bottom of the fourth, Soshi Yoshino had a good opportunity with a doble. Tsubasa Yoshino followed with an RBI single to add one more run.

Starting pitcher Kosei Koga pitcher was held closer runs until the fourth inning, but gave up two runs on back-to-back RBI singles with two outs in the top of the fifth. In the bottom of the fifth, Kohiro Komori 's hit and a fielder's choice put runners on first and second with one out. With two outs and bases loaded on the plate, Sotaro Nagata 's two-run RBI single made the score 5-2.

In the bottom of the sixth, Po Hsiang Yang advanced to third base on hit and stolen base and advanced to third base Daisuke Nakashima Extend your lead with a player's sacrifice fly. Yoshi fielder’s choice had a 3 hit 2 RBI and Nagata had a 2 hit 2 RBI.
