On 1 July, the 14th round match between Western League regular season and Fukuoka Softbank Hanshin Tigers at Tamahome Stadium Chikugo was win by Fukuoka Softbank with a score of 3-2.

Fukuoka Softbank starter Ryosuke Otsu pitcher led off the first inning with two outs and the bases loaded on an RBI triple by Hirohiro Inoue. In the bottom of the third inning, the leadoff hitter Soma Ishimi singled to Walk and sacrifice bunt to load the bases with two outs. Keita Yamamoto followed with a timely doble to tie the game.

Otsu pitcher picked up after the third inning, striking out five inning and exiting mound in the seventh inning on 108 pitches hit Walk 3 strike out 1 runs on 108 pitches. In the top of the eighth inning, Yuwa Miyasato pitcher and in the top of the ninth, Shuto Ogata players each closer three runners on base. In the top of the 10th inning, which started with runners on first and second base with no outs, pitcher Miyazaki took the mound. With two outs, he bases loaded on a hit and a Hit by Pitch on a groundout. However, in the bottom of the 10th inning, Ryuta Hirose's hit put the game on a bases loaded with no outs, and Riku Watanabe 's two-run RBI single scored walk-off win. Yamamoto recorded 3 hit 1 RBI and Watanabe recorded 2 hit, including walk-off shots.
