On 27 March, Eastern League regular season and Hokkaido Nippon-Ham and Tokyo Yakult played at Kamagaya Stadium in The Fighters, where Hokkaido Nippon-Ham lost 0-1.

​Hokkaido Nippon-Ham started Kota Tatsu pitcher started the first three inning in a row and closer to three straight three-way retirements. In the top of the fourth, he allowed a leadoff hit to Tetsuto Yamada, but he struck out the next two batters at double play, and in the top of the fifth, he retired the side again closer and gave up mound with 63 pitches hit Hit by Pitch 6 strike out no runs.

The relievers tied the top of the sixth inning with Kodai Yamamoto pitcher and the top of the seventh with Taisho Tamai pitcher runs. However, in the top of the eighth inning, Zabara pitcher was stepped on at second base on hit and stolen base, and Ruito Nishimura gave up one run on an RBI single. The offense was sporadic until the eighth inning, when three hit scoreless. In the bottom of the ninth, Daiki Asama had the leadoff man on base with a hit, but failed to capitalize on the opportunity as he failed to make a sacrifice bunt.
