On 5 April, Fukuoka Softbank lost 1-6 in the fourth round match between Western League regular season and Fukuoka Softbank and Kufu HAYATE Shizuoka at Tamahome Stadium Chikugo.

Fukuoka Softbank starter pitcher Izaki got off to a perfect start, closer three consecutive inning in the first inning. He allowed back-to-back singles with no outs in the top of the fourth, but gave up runs in the top of the fifth, gave up a Walk to lead off the inning but didn't allow a run, and gave up a run on 50 pitches in the fifth inning with 2 hit 1 Walk 4 strike out runs to get out of mound.

However, in the top of the sixth, Taisei Kimura pitcher, who was on second, made an error in the fourth hit to runs 4. In the top of the eighth, Koichiro Okada pitcher gave up one run on a two-out single with Hit by Pitch and hit and a bad throw on the infield hit and gave up one run on an RBI single by Riki Fukaya runs to end the inning.

In the bottom of the fifth, Soichiro Ishizuka doble hit a leadoff single and Yoshiyasu Sasakawa hit an RBI single to take the lead, but they were unable to score after the comeback. In the bottom of the eighth, they had a good opportunity with two outs and bases loaded on 3 hit, but Kota Sato fell to struck out. They have shot 8 hit but failed to score a single goal and have lost back-to-back games 6-1. Sasakawa recorded 3 hit 1 RBI.
