pitcher: Moinelo (first time recipient)

Fukuoka Softbank pitcher Moinelo, who won the title of best ERA for the second consecutive year, was named to the Best Nine for the first time. He recorded a zero-point ERA three times in May, June, and August, and set a new team record with 18 struck out in a single game against Tokyo Yakult on June 6th, demonstrating his dominance in this season, his second year as a starter. He also reached double-digit pitch for the second consecutive year, making him part of Fukuoka Softbank 's "10-win quartet." In the postseason, he was named MVP of the "Persol CS Pacific" and win win pitcher the "SMBC Japan Series 2025," showing outstanding performance.

Orix 's Kenya Wakatsuki who reached his first 100 hit in a season and was also awarded the Mitsui Golden Glove Award, is the first to receive this award. This season, his 12th year as a professional, he not only achieved career-highs hit, but also in Home Run runs and RBI. He also won the Sky PerfecTV! walk-off Award in May, recording three walk-off hits in the first half of the season alone. Saitama Seibu Lions' Nevin won the award in the first baseman category. He is the team's fifth player to win the award in his first year in Japan, following Ernesto Mejia in 2014. Nevin demonstrated exceptional adaptability in the pre-season games, batting .351 and .538 in scoring position. In May, he had 26 At Bat in 89 hit in 24 games, a .292 batting average, earning him the Taiju Life Insurance Monthly MVP Award. In June, he was given an unusual mid-season contract extra inning, leading the team's batting lineup as a key player. He also won the Mitsui Golden Glove Award, becoming the team's second foreign player to win the award in 33 years.

Fukuoka Softbank 's Taisei Makihara won the award for the first time in his 15th year as a professional. Reaching the required number of at-bats for the first time, he finished with the league's only batting average of .304, becoming the first hitter from the development team to win the batting title. He also won the Mitsui Golden Glove Award for the first time in the second baseman category. His solid play on both offense and defense contributed greatly to the team's second consecutive league championship and first Japan championship in five years.

third baseman: Itsuki Murabayashi (first time winner)

Tohoku Rakuten 's Itsuki Murabayashi, who hit 144 hit and won his first batting title, was also named to the Best Nine. Although he also played second baseman and short stop, he played the most games as third baseman, 104 in total, and played the entire season without injury. Although his performance declined towards the end of the season, his batting averages for April, May, and July were all over 30%. He also recorded a batting average in the high 30% range with hits in scoring position, supporting the team as a key player in the batting lineup.

Tohoku Rakuten 's Rui Rui Muneyama, who established starting line-up as short stop from his rookie year, was delighted to receive his first award. After competing with five teams, Munetayama joined Tohoku Rakuten as the first draft pick, and he lived up to expectations with his strong defense ability and consistent hitting. He became the fourth rookie fielder on the team to achieve 100 hit, and reached the required number of at-bats the fastest among rookies from the 12 teams. Despite the demanding position of short stop, he completed the entire season without being removed from the roster even once.

outfielder: Tatsuru Yanagimachi (first time recipient)

Fukuoka Softbank 's Tatsuya Tatsuru Yanagimachi won the award for the first time, achieving career highs in games played, batting average, hit, and OPS. Yanagimachi started the season in the second team, but was promoted in April due to a series of injuries to the first team. He posted a strong batting average of .333 for the month, and continued to produce results, including being the leading hitter in the Nippon Life Central vs. Pacific League Interleague Series, reaching the required number of at-bats for the first time in his career. He also had a great postseason performance, winning the Persol Award with a batting average of .417 in the Persol CS Pacific League.

outfielder: Keita Nakagawa (first time recipient)

Orix 's Keita Nakagawa, registered infielder but primarily playing center fielder and left field, played defense outfield in a team-high 115 games, and received this award for the first time in his seventh year as a pro. This season, he posted a batting average of .284 in 119 games, third in the league, and hit 12 Home Run, achieving double-digit Home Run for the first time in two years. His competitive hitting also stood out, as he hit his first walk-off home run in a game against Tohoku Rakuten on July 16th, winning the July "Sky PerfecTV! Walk walk-off Award."

outfielder: Ukyo Shuto (2nd time in a row)

Fukuoka Softbank 's Ukyo Shuto won the award for the second consecutive year. There were concerns about the impact of surgery on his left knee last offseason, but he made a start in the first team and recorded hit in 19 consecutive games since the start of the season. On April 10th, in a game against Orix, he became the 80th player in NPB history to stolen base 200 bases. This season, he has continued to use his speed to excel on both offense and defense. In the SMBC Japan Series 2025, he recorded five hit in a single game, a first in series history, and contributed greatly to the team's first Japan Series title in five years.

DH: Franmil Reyes (2nd time in a row)

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham-Ham Fighters' Reyes, who won the double crown of Home Run (32) and RBI (90), received the award for the second consecutive year. In July, he was named the Taiju Life Insurance Monthly MVP for the second time with a batting average of .324 and Home Run, and his hitting prowess throughout the summer contributed to the team's advancement to the Persol CS Pacific League. He is performing even better than last season, his first year in Japan, and has even signed a contract extra inning through the 2026 season.
