On 26 March, Eastern League regular season Hokkaido Nippon-Ham and Tokyo Yakult walk-off win the second round match at Kamagaya Stadium in The Fighters, 4-3 for Hokkaido Nippon-Ham.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Starting pitcher Fukuya Yamazaki pitcher made a second baseman error in the first inning and runner with a 2-hit in the top of the second, but got through the runs with no outs. In the top of the third inning, Tetsuto Yamada led off the inning with a solo shot in the No. 1 spot, but he didn't allow any additional runs after the fourth inning, closer two consecutive inning and retired five hit on six pitches, Hit by Pitch strike out 1 runs mound on 90 pitches.

In the bottom of the sixth, with two outs, Yushin Shimizu and Naoki Arizono loaded the bases with back-to-back Walk singles, and Yuki Umebayashi 's two-run RBI single triple put the game on the board. But in the top of the seventh, Terukazu Nakayama pitcher pinch-hit with two outs on two hit and Walk and bases loaded with no outs, and gave up two runs on an error by first baseman. After the eighth inning, Ryodai Matsumoto pitcher and Taisei Yanagawa pitcher in the fourth and fifth were closer by three runners.

Then, in the bottom of the ninth, with one out, Umebayashi and Ryosuke Myose drew back-to-back Walk runs, and Ataru Yamaguchi 's RBI single tied the game. Daiki Asama followed with a hit and the next at-bat of Kazuki Miyazaki allowed a wild pitch to score runner third base, ending the game at 4-3. Yamaguchi scored 2 hit 1 RBI.
