On 9 July, the 11th round match between Saitama Seibu and Tohoku Rakuten was played in Belluna Dome, and Tohoku Rakuten win 2-0.

For Tohoku Rakuten, starter Howard pitcher did not pitch due to poor condition. Suddenly, Ryuta Konno pitcher was the starter. One batter was just one hit through five innings before opposing starter Shinya Sugai pitcher. But in the top of the sixth, with one out, Daisuke Nakashima triple scored two runs on an RBI single by Voight from third base and a safety squeeze by Itsuki Murabayashi with two outs.

He pitched Masaya Nishigaki pitcher in the sixth through second inning and Ren Kajiya pitcher in the bottom of the eighth. In the bottom of the ninth, Takahiro Norimoto pitcher closed out the inning and scored win on a shutout game relay. Tohoku Rakuten is third, and Daichi Shibata pitcher has his first professional win.

In the loss, Saitama Seibu starter pitcher Sugai was 1 hit through 5 innings, but collapsed in the 6th inning and went 4 hit 2 Walk 2 runs in 5.2 innings. He also put up runner runs in each inning until the fifth inning, but couldn't get another out, snapping a four-game losing streak and zero saves.
