The cheerleaders of the six Taiwan professional baseball teams are attracting enthusiastic attention from Japan fans for their gorgeous cheering performances, and are attracting more and more attention every year. Pacific League Insight conducted a Q&A session with the 2025 season members of the "Rakuten Girls (baseball Rakuten Girls)", the exclusive cheerleader of "Rakuten Monkeys", who pioneered Taiwanese professional cheerleading and laid the foundation for Taiwan's unique cheering style. Peng Peng's profile

This time we will be introducing Peng Peng (@ujou.chi), number 87. Born on January 8th, she is 156cm tall and her hobbies are table tennis, Chinese spinning tops, and watching anime.

Peng Peng is also a member of the Taishin Wonders, the cheer team for the Taipei Taishin Mars of the Taiwan Professional Basketball League (TPBL). She graduated from Taipei Medical University's Department of Oral Health and has worked in the dental field. She is a new member who joined this season and boasts 290,000 followers on count.

◯How would you describe your personality in one word?
It takes time to become friends

◯What are you good at?
I learn sports pretty quickly

◯What are you not good at?
Singing

◯I love "〇〇"!
I like cats, sunbathing, and listening to music!

What do you do when you want to relax?
Sleeping, listening to music, playing with my phone

◯What would you like to eat at the end of your life?
Chun Shui Tang (the Taiwanese store that originated tapioca milk tea)

◯What foods do you dislike?
Liver, sashimi, sweet bread

◯What would you like to be if you were reborn?
I want to be me again

◯What do you always carry with you?
antiperspirant

◯What has been the most moving thing in your life?
I received a lot of feedback from people who watched me grow, from my days as a model to joining the cheerleading team. Some even wrote me cards and sent me messages.

◯If you weren't a Rakuten Girl, what do you think you'd be doing?

Lol, he's very considerate and caring.
Kira is one of the few people I've been able to date without any pressure from the beginning. She's a caring person.

◯What are your favorite beauty products?
It's not a beauty product, but it's a medical beauty treatment called Phoenix Radio Waves.

◯What do you do to maintain your beauty?
Weigh yourself daily and count your calories

◯What was your most memorable experience in Japan?
I've been to Tokyo four times so far. The yakiniku and ramen were delicious.

◯Tell us about your enthusiasm for the 2025 season!
I want to surpass my performance from last year and continue to improve.

Founded in 2005 as the first cheerleading squad in Taiwan's professional baseball, this year marks their 20th anniversary. Having undergone two name changes following the acquisition and renaming of their parent team, the group has been active as "Rakuten Girls" since the 2020 season. The 30 members include members from Japan and Korea. In addition to cheering performances at the stadium, they have gained popularity through a wide range of activities, including the release of CDs and photobooks, and are said to be one of the most influential girl groups in Taiwan's entertainment industry.
