After last season, when she made the transition from her previous job as a yoga instructor to her dream of becoming a cheerleader for a baseball team, she recalls, "I loved the space where I could cheer as one with the fans of Rakuten Eagles." [Tohoku Golden Angels]
The cheer team was formed in 2005 when the team was founded, and will mark its 21st year in 2025. In addition to livening up the stadium and cheering on the team through performances, the cheer team also works to promote the team by appearing in various media outlets and as a cheer dance school instructor, aiming to be a "bridge" that connects the team with fans and the local community.
The team also places great importance on promoting the Tohoku region as a whole, and one of its features is its active interaction with local residents, including visits to elementary and junior high schools throughout the region, and kindergartens and nursery schools accompanied by the team's official mascot.
