The official cheer and performance team of the baseball team that supports the team through a wide range of activities such as various performances that make the game more attractive to spectators, media appearances, and community contribution activities. 120 performers in all who will make the 2025 season a success Pacific League We will introduce you to all 120 performers who will make the six teams' 2025 season a great success.

In #58, we will introduce MEI of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles official cheerleaders, the Tohoku Golden Angels.

She is in her third year with the team, is from Miyagi Prefecture, was born on January 10, and enjoys listening to the radio and podcasts.
MEI says that she decided to continue her activities this season because she wants to help make the Tohoku Golden Angels even brighter and push them forward in the 2025 season. She also wanted to show the children of the Jr. Cheerleaders, for whom current members serve as instructors, "I still want to show them how cool I can be as a teacher! I still want to show them how cool I am as a teacher!

Learning the choreography quickly, and the introductory song for the players (still learning it)

They are my seniors from my junior cheerleading days.
They are all people who excel in both performance and leadership, and I have always followed their footsteps.

Mei, Mei-chan, Mei-san

◯ Who was the first member you became close with?
KOHARU (We've been friends since elementary school!)

UMI's "attitude towards learning" is amazing!
I think it's wonderful to see them trying to absorb as much as they can in one lesson, and how they pick up on even the smallest learnings, not just as Angels but as instructors as well.

◯ Out of all the Angels dance numbers that you have performed, which is your favorite?
"Phoenix" performed on the outer stage of the 2024 stadium
It was a song that she created with her fellow dancer MOMOKA, and it was a song that she danced to with passion for win of Rakuten Eagles at every game.

◯Which professional baseball performance team would you like to collaborate with? (Regardless of Central or Pacific)

Their performance has the power to draw the audience in, and it's so fascinating that I thought it would be great to collaborate with them someday!

◯What I like about Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles
The fact that the team name includes "Tohoku" (Tohoku). This team, which strongly connects six prefectures, centered around the team staff and players who share a sense of unity, is truly unique and special.

Every year, we create many of our own choreographies and formations, and in the 2025 season, our members with a wide range of years of experience are working on creating performances to further liven up the stadium! This year, we have created many new numbers that are full of the individuality of our members, so please keep an eye out!

As I enter my third year with the Angels, I want to show a solid backing, and above all, I want to share the joy of win with as many of our fans as possible, so I will do my best to see this season through!

[Tohoku Golden Angels]
The cheer team was formed in 2005 when the team was founded, and will mark its 21st year in 2025. In addition to livening up the stadium and cheering on the team through performances, the cheer team also works to promote the team by appearing in various media outlets and as a cheer dance school instructor, aiming to be a "bridge" that connects the team with fans and the local community.
The team also places great importance on promoting the Tohoku region as a whole, and one of its features is its active interaction with local residents, including visits to elementary and junior high schools throughout the region, and kindergartens and nursery schools accompanied by the team's official mascot.
