On 2 March, Tohoku Rakuten and Hiroshima opened the match at Kurashiki Muscat Stadium, where Tohoku Rakuten lost 0-2.

Tohoku Rakuten starter Wataru Karashima pitcher started the game with a closer of three runs in each of the two innings. In the top of the third inning, he faced a two-out, bases loaded-hit deficit, but he got all three outs on struck out to get through the inning with no runs and exited mound on 50 pitches in three innings hit Hit by Pitch three strike out no runs.

​Tatsuki Koja pitcher entered the game in the fourth inning and showed a steady pitch that closer 2 inning to 1 hit, followed by Masahiro Ehara pitcher, Sora Suzuki pitcher, Ren Kajiya pitcher also closer 1 inning to no runs each.

The offense loaded six consecutive inning from the third inning to hit the bases, but couldn't get the runners on base. In the top of the ninth inning, Taisei Tsuruzaki pitcher pinch-hit three consecutive singles to put the game at bases loaded with no outs, and then gave up one run on a sacrifice fly by Shoto Takagi. With one out and one out, runner scored on a grounder from third base to make the score 2-0. In the bottom of the ninth inning, the game ended in a 2-0 tie.

With the loss, Tohoku Rakuten had Yukiya Ito players and Yuya Ogo players score 1 hit 1 stolen base. He threw a total of 7 hit but did not score. pitcher was able to closer to 5 hit until the eighth inning, but Tsuruzaki pitcher couldn't hold on.
