Hokkaido Nippon-Ham player Kengo Yoshida showed his mettle in his new home.

Yoshida, who started as the seventh batter and third baseman, hit a timely hit in RBI of the second inning with runners on first and third and one out, which was his first hit and first RBI since the transfer, and in the bottom of the fourth inning he hit doble that hit wall. He also had hit in the bottom of the sixth and eighth innings, making for a great performance with four At Bat in four hit. He made an immediate impact in his first exhibition game appearance.

Yoshida, who was a member of Fukuoka Softbank last season, recorded a batting average of .303 in the minor league. He was transferred to Hokkaido Nippon-Ham in the active player draft last offseason.
