On 13 May, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Orix 10th round match in ES CON FIELD was won by Hokkaido Nippon-Ham 7-0.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham loaded the bases in the bottom of the third inning when leadoff Kazunari Ishii hit a doble down the right field line, the team's first hit. Then, with one out, Ryota Isobata led off the inning with an RBI single.

Starter Hiromi Ito pitcher took the lead in the first inning and stole three struck out. In the top of the fifth, he allowed his first hit in four inning with one out, but got the next Kenya Wakatsuki to reach out to double play hits.

In the top of the sixth, with runners on first and third with one out and hit on Walk hitter and , pitcher Ito pinch-hit for the first time in the game. Unfazed, however, he missed the game in a straight game against Ryo Ota struck out. He followed that up with Yutaro Sugimoto strikeouts for struck out. In the top of the seventh, he had the bases loaded with two outs, but he was able to get out of the jam with a struck out on Wakatsuki.

A batting line that wants to live up to the spirit of pitcher Ito. With one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, Kotaro Kiyomiya, Chusei Mannami, and Ishii hit back-to-back singles to create chances, and Torai Fushimi hit at the right time. With one out and bases loaded out, Ryota Isobata squeeze scored on two outs. After dragging down the opposing starter, Alen Kuri pitcher, rookie Shu Yamagata hit an RBI single for his first professional RBI to extend the lead to 6-0. In the bottom of the eighth, Yuki Nomura drove in the go-ahead run with a solo shot in the sixth.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham defeated pitcher Kuri, who had lost three times this season, to retain the top spot. pitcher Ito, who picked up his fifth win, pitched four hit 10 strike out runs eight innings. The batting lineup with 10 hit was 2 hit 3 RBI by Izuhata, 2 hit 1 RBI including Home Run by Nomura, and 2 hit by Ishii. The loss came for Orix by pitcher 9 in 6.1 strike out innings, but 8 hit 6 runs for the first time since transferring. The batting line went silent at 4 hit shutout game.
