On 5 April, Eastern League regular season and Chiba Lotte played in Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium and the second round match between Yokohama DeNA and Chiba Lotte won 3-0 to win.

Chiba Lotte opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning when Aceve led off the inning with a doble and Koki Yamaguchi singled with two outs. Ryusei Miyazaki followed with a Walk single, and with two outs and one out, Aito added a run on an RBI doble from second base. In the bottom of the third, Raito Ikeda 's No. 2 solo shot made the score 3-0.

The starter, Yuki Karakawa pitcher, got off to a good start, closer to three batters in the first inning. In the top of the second inning, he was hit by a pitch with two hit outs and runners on first and second with one out, but he was able to get out of the jam. In the top of the fifth, with two outs and runners on first and second with hit and Walk, Aito center fielder stabbed out runner at second base to end the runs.

Chiba Lotte, who win the game, started Yuki Karakawa pitcher and threw 70 pitches in five innings, throwing 4 hit 1 Walk 3 strike out runs no-. The relievers also connected with no hit. Ikeda hit 2 hit, including Home Run, and Yamaguchi also recorded 2 hit 1 RBI.
