On July 11, in the 14th round of Farm regular season Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Yokohama DeNA held in CAR3219 Field, Saitama Seibu Lions lost 4-6.

Saitama Seibu Lions 's starter, Masahiro Kawashimo pitcher, put runner in scoring position in the top of the first and second innings but failed to step on home plate, starting with no runs. However, in the top of the third, with one out and runners on first and third, Hummel gave up a two-run lead with a timely doble.

In the bottom of the fourth, with one out, Reon Murata reached base at hit, and Sowa Yokota hit his second two-run homer to tie the game. Shun Akiyama continued with hit, and with one out and a runner on first, Yuito Arai hit a timely triple, successfully taking the lead.

However, in the top of the 5th, pitcher Kawashimo allowed the lead again with Taiki Sekine's second homer, and after throwing 88 pitches with 7 hit 4 walks Hit by Pitch 2 strike out 4 runs, he was taken out. From the top of the 6th, Haruto Yamada pitcher, Hakua Iwaki pitcher, and Yuta Kuroki pitcher each connected 1 inning without runs.

Trailing by one run, Shota Hamaya pitcher hit consecutive RBI singles with two outs and runners on third, runs the bottom of the ninth. In the bottom of the ninth, with hit by Arai and Takayoshi Yamamura, with two outs and runners on first and third, pinch hitter Hiroto Saito scored a run, but the next batters retired and the game ended.
