On the 3rd, Seibu Lions announced that they will be holding a denim fashion-themed "Dress Up Series" for a total of six games, including games against Rakuten Eagles from May 8th to 10th and games against Orix Buffaloes from May 22nd to 24th.
This project is a collaboration with the Japan Jeans Association, which organizes the Best Jeanist awards. By connecting players and fans through blue denim, which is in line with The Lions' team color blue, a sense of unity is created throughout the stadium, delivering a new way to enjoy baseball games through fashion.
During the event, visitors will be able to enjoy denim coordination, with original stickers given to visitors wearing beautiful denim items. As the highlight event of the series, a fan vote begins today to select The Lions' "Best Jeanist" from among 13 players dressed in blue denim. In addition to voting via Saitama Seibu Lions official LINE, a polling station will be set up at Belluna Dome during the May Dress Up Series, which will also function as a photo spot where visitors can take photos with panels of players dressed in denim. The player who wins the Best Jeanist award will be announced before the game on the final day, the 24th.
Additionally, on the 9th, all visitors will receive a "CITEN x LIONS Metallic Bag," a collaboration with CITEN, a popular brand among young people produced by select shop United Arrows. On Saturday the 23rd, "Tokyo Girls Collection x LIONS Collaboration Tumblers," a collaboration with the largest fashion festival in history, will be distributed. Both items are perfect with blue denim.
During the event, tickets for the four matches on the 8th, 10th, 22nd, and 24th will include an optional "CITE x Manaya Nishikawa Metallic Bag," which was produced by Manaya Nishikawa, with the player having participated in selecting the fabric. Additionally, orders for limited edition "Dress Up Series" merchandise featuring original photos of the players and more also began today.
Additionally, The Lions fan Raimu Okamiya will be featured on Sunday the 10th, and the five-member boy band WILD BLUE will be featured on Sunday the 24th, both of which will appear at the ceremonial pitch and other events.
