Trailing by two runs in the top of the seventh, with one out, Ryosuke Kodama 's doble and Natsuo Takizawa 's sacrifice bunt loaded the bases with two outs. Shinya Hasegawa drew a Walk on the eighth pitch of the game, and Shota Hiranuma followed with an RBI single to score one run.

In the top of the eighth inning, Ryusei Sato 's hit and Kento Watanabe 's Walk created opportunities at first and second base, and Shoya Makino 's two-run RBI doble was enough to complete the comeback. With one out and the bases loaded, Ryosuke Kodama added one more run on a grounder to extend the lead to two. In the bottom of the eighth, Masaya Kuroda pitcher closer runs, and in the bottom of the ninth, Haruto Yamada pitcher closed out the game with a three-way tie.

Saitama Seibu, who win, recorded a total of 10 hit, including two hit by Hiranuma and Yuto Koga. pitcher allowed runner but closer with a minimum of runs.

Despite the loss to Orix, starter Alen Kuri pitcher pitched well, striking out each of the first two inning and allowing three hit runs on 56 pitches in four innings. In the batting order, Yuma Mune recorded a total of 9 hit, including 2 At Bat 2 hit, but the third baseman, pitcher Takashima, gave up 6 hit 4 runs in 3.2 innings.
