Two Orix catcher are in the spotlight. Kenya Wakatsuki is doing well with a batting average of .364 in five preseason games, but his hitting hasn't been great in the last two games. Will he be able to improve his batting form again before the season starts? Sho Fukunaga Sho has also been gradually increasing his playing time in preseason games, batting .286 in seven games. With Tomoya Mori sidelined with a right internal oblique muscle injury, he will be hoping to impress with both his offense and defense.
