On May 5, the sixth round match between Eastern League regular season and Chiba Lotte and Saitama Seibu was played in Lotte Urawa Baseball Stadium, and Saitama Seibu win 4-3.

The offense opened the scoring in the top of the first inning with an RBI single by Cedeño. In the top of the third inning, Sosuke Genda hit a triple and Takayoshi Yamamura added a run on a sacrifice fly. In the top of the sixth, the Yankees tied the game on Ryusei Sato 's No. 2 solo shot. After the seventh inning, the relievers connected Yuta Kuroki pitcher and Masaya Kuroda pitcher with no runs.

In the top of the ninth, leadoff man Ryu Sato reached base on a doble and Takuya Hiruma hit a sacrifice bunt to extend the chances. At this point, Montel hit a sacrifice fly and succeeded in winning the game. In the bottom of the ninth, Yuta Nakamura pitcher closed out the game and Saitama Seibu won the close game 4-3. Ryu Sato has scored 3 hit, including Home Run.

Chiba Lotte started Rikuto Yokoyama pitcher and went 3 hit 1 Walk 2 runs three innings. The second-ranked Ryota Nakamura pitcher pitched well with a 4-inning 3 hit 1-Walk 1-runs. The offense rallied for two Home Run in the fifth, but couldn't capitalize on their chances. Miyazaki and Aito scored 2 hit.
