On 30 April, Orix won 5-0 in the fourth round of the Orix and Chiba Lotte in win Kyocera Dome Osaka.

Orix took the lead in the bottom of the second inning on Ryoma Nishikawa 's solo shot of the game. In the bottom of the third, back-to-back singles by Kenya Wakatsuki and Yusuke Mugitani, Taishi Hirooka 's sacrifice bunt with one out and two runs from third base, and an RBI single by Ryo Ota added two more runs. Starting pitcher Daiki Tajima pitcher, who was relieved from the start, gave up hit in the first inning and runner in the top of the third on an error, but did not allow any other runner, and pitched well inning until the eighth inning when he retired three batters six times. In the top of the ninth, he allowed a hit to Raito Ikeda with one out, but he retired the side with two runners on to end the game, 5-0.

Dai Tajima pitcher threw 101 pitches in the ninth inning, hit 2 Hit by Pitch 9 strike out to record his first shutout game win in nearly three years since 2022. The offense also supported strongly, scoring five runs in 12 hit and winning back-to-back games in Chiba Lotte. Ota has recorded 39 hit in a month, which is tied for the most in the right-handed hitter of a baseball team.

In the loss, Chiba Lotte starter Atsuki Taneichi pitcher allowed 11 hit 1 Walk 3 strike out 5 runs five innings. The relievers combined for 3 inning with 1 hit 4 Hit by Pitch, but the hitters couldn't catch Dai Tajima pitcher.
