On August 8, in the second round of the Farm regular season Orix Buffaloes vs. Tokyo Yakult held in Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium Maishima, Orix Buffaloes lost 3-6.

Starting pitcher Riku Miyaguni pitcher retired all three batters in the first inning, but in the top of the second, they got all outs by struck out. In the top of the third, Tetsuto Yamada hit a timely hit to give up one run, but the lineup immediately took the lead with Ryoma Ikeda RBI hits. With support, pitcher Miyakuni was cut to one run in the top of the fifth after Jo Endo triple but failed to give up the lead and left the mound after 5 innings with 69 pitches, 4 hit, and 2 runs.

He entered the relief pitching in the sixth inning, with Sho Iwasaki pitcher coming in as the second pitcher. He closer the first inning runs, but the second inning caught the lead and allowed the lead to take the lead. With the score tied 3-4 and still one out, he was replaced by Seiryu Kotajima pitcher bases loaded, but gave up two more runs with consecutive RBI hits. From the eighth inning, Kaisei Tomatsu pitcher pitched well, runs two inning without the pitcher.

The lineup scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning, then struggled until the eighth inning, allowing hit against the opposing pitcher. In the bottom of the ninth, with one out, they hit three consecutive hits to bases loaded, but the next batters fell, ending the game 3-6. The relief staff miscalculated, and Orix Buffaloes suffered consecutive losses. Ikeda recorded 2 hit 1 RBI, and Sodai Nakanishi recorded 2 hit.
