On August 28, in the 27th round of the Farm regular season vs. Hanshin Tigers held at Hotto Motto Field Kobe, Orix Buffaloes lost 5-7 to Orix Buffaloes.

Orix Buffaloes took the lead in the first inning when Ryoma Ikeda hit his seventh two-run homer. In the top of the second, starter Kaisei Tomatsu pitcher gave up two RBI hits to tie the game, but in the bottom of the third, Ikeda scored three runs with a go-ahead RBI hit. However, in the top of the fourth, pitcher Higashimatsu gave up two runs, and in the top of the fifth, the second pitcher Kento Kawase pitcher runs three. They allowed the game to take the lead 5-7.

The lineup created a chance in the bottom of the 8th with Yutaro Sugimoto doble but no runs scored. In the bottom of the 9th, they retired all three batters in order. The losing Orix Buffaloes saw Ikeda hit a 2-hit 3-RBI including the go-ahead two-run homer, but pitcher Higashimatsu threw 4 runs in 4 innings, and pitcher Kawase also threw 3 runs in 1 inning.
