On August 8, in the 14th game of Farm regular season Hokkaido Nippon-Ham vs. Tohoku Rakuten Eagles held at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles win 7-1.

In the first inning, the lineup created a good opportunity with rapid hits from Kohiro Komori and Soshi Yoshino, and during the bad throw pickoff, runner took the lead. In the top of the fourth, Yuya Ogo added a run with a timely hit. Starter Masahiro Ehara pitcher gave up Minato Handa 's first solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning, but otherwise pitched without any danger. He threw 86 pitches in 6 innings, 2 hit, 8 strike out, 1 runs, and got off mound.

The lineup added another run in the top of the sixth inning with their seventh solo homer, fielder’s choice a lucky hand. Then, in the top of the eighth, with two errors and one out, bases loaded was out, but Yukiya Ito and Tsuyoshi Ishihara hit consecutive timely hits to score four runs in one go. From the seventh inning, the relief team connected with Shota Watanabe pitcher and Masaya Nishigaki pitcher, and finally Uchi Seiryu pitcher closed the game.

Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, who won convincingly 7-1, RBI 2 hit 1, including Home Run fielder’s choice hand. Ishihara also marked 2 hit. The losing Hokkaido Nippon-Ham featured starting pitcher Yukiya Saito pitcher throwing 77 pitches, 7 hit, 8 strike out, and 3 runs over 6 innings. Rookie Handa, who was drafted in the 4th round, recorded his first Home Run in regular season.
