M☆Splash!!, the official cheer performers Chiba Lotte Marines, has announced that they will be holding auditions for new members for 2026. Applications are open until Friday, October 17th for new members who will liven up the stadium with powerful and spectacular performances to help The Marines win.

M☆Splash!! will be celebrating its 22nd year since its formation in 2026. What kind of people are they looking for in new members? We spoke to Nozomi Narabayashi of Chiba Lotte Marines Brand Management Department, who is in charge of operations.

M☆Splash!! is a group of cheer performers who support The Marines together with the ground and liven up the stadium through dance performances and appearances on the field.

Aiming to liven up not only the stadium and the team but also Chiba Prefecture, they participate in various events held within the prefecture, visit schools, volunteer activities, and other community contribution activities. They are also positioned as the top team of the The Marines Dance Academy (MDA), the team's official kids' dance school, and as MDA instructors, they are also focusing on nurturing the next generation of M☆Splash!!

2025: Performance has grown to become "the centerpiece of stadium production"

What kind of season was 2025 for M☆Splash!!, a group with a long history since its formation? Narabayashi reflected, "In recent years, we have gradually expanded our appearances, but in 2025 we played a key role in the stadium production, and I think M☆Splash!!'s performances have grown into a form of content."

"In particular, during the summer event, 'BLACK SUMMER WEEK,' we position the highly anticipated production throughout the event, including the 'Take to the field' performance, which featured a variety of camerawork, in which the players took their defensive positions just before the start of the game, and the 'BSW Night Dance Show', which was held on a special stage in front of the stadium after the game."

In addition, in fiscal 2025, we also focused on still photography by professional photographers based on seasonal event themes such as yukata and Halloween.

"The photos we take are used for merchandise, digital trading cards called 'M Collection', Instagram, etc. We did about 12 photo shoots throughout the year, and each member studied styling, hair arrangement, makeup, posing, facial expression management, etc. before each shoot," he revealed.

This season provided an environment where skills other than dancing could be tested, and as all members continued to hone and grow, it helped to raise the overall level of M☆Splash!!

We are looking for people who can continue to improve themselves. We are now accepting new members for 2026.

Auditions for the 2026 members finally began on Monday, October 6th. What kind of talent is M☆Splash!! looking for in 2026?

"We welcome individuals who understand Chiba Lotte Marines' team philosophy of 'challenge for win,' 'passion for win,' and 'unity for win,' and who can enliven the stadium with powerful and spectacular performances to help The Marines win. We are also looking for individuals who are constantly sensitive to trends in not only dance skills but also hair, makeup, and style, and who can continue to improve themselves, so that they can become role models for women of their generation."

When asked what the most important mindset is when working as M☆Splash!!, he said, "To create new sports entertainment that adapts to the times, we need to constantly challenge ourselves and continue to hone our performance."

[Eligibility]
・Women who are 18 years of age or older as of Thursday, April 2, 2026
*High school students are not eligible (those expected to graduate from high school in March 2026 are eligible)
*Minors at the time of entry must have parental consent.
・Those who can responsibly participate in home games, events, and regular lessons during the 2026 season. Also, those who can participate in lessons and rehearsals that start after passing the exam.
・Healthy, cheerful and energetic people
