Lotte's Miyakonojo fall training camp will finally begin on the 29th.

Kyota Fujiwara, who reached the required number of at-bats for the first time in his seventh year as a professional this season, has begun to adopt a batting style that aims for long hits, saying during the fall practice held at Zozo Marine Stadium, "From this fall, I'm trying to swing in a way that will make long hits the basis."

Towards the end of fall practice, he was hitting balls pulled to right field more often, and he said, "My sense is getting really good," and he is confident heading into fall camp. "I think the practice will be hard, so first of all I want to do my best to keep up with the practice," he said enthusiastically.

This season, Ryusei Terachi participated in the "Mynavi All-Star Game 2025," reaching his first required number of at-bats with batting skills that are hard to believe considering he's only a second-year high school graduate. During fall training, after individual batting practice, he conducted daily defensive practice with coach Naoya Emura, saying, "I'm the worst player, and next year (rookies) will be joining, so I don't think I'm in a position to be careless. I don't think it's a loss to do it now, and I'm doing it for my own benefit, so I'll do my best to keep defense." He will continue to train himself during fall training camp.

Ryusei Ogawa, who has made his presence felt both offensively and defensively, plans to try out a new bat in hitting, "I made a new type of bat in September, and I think it will be a good opportunity to try it out during fall practice and camp, so I'm using that bat a little more, or rather, I'm using that bat. defense I think I can practice the basics in the fall and off-season, so I'm trying to do a good number of basic things with the mindset of getting defense better again.

Akito Takabe who has fought through this season without any major injuries, said, "First of all, it's my body. I need to make my body stronger, so I need to understand my capabilities and know my limits first. I need to think about whether my body will move when I'm tired, how I move, and how I move when I'm tired. I want to think about it as hard as I can." He intends to push his body and find out his limits.

Kyuto Ueda, who is aiming to become a regular player, vows to improve his level, saying, "I still have a long way to go in terms of my level, so I want to improve base running, defense, and batting. My batting average wasn't what I was satisfied with, so I'm thinking about what I can do to improve my batting average, and I hope to be able to hit some long balls within that."

Key pitcher such as Naoya Masuda, Shuta Ishikawa, Kazuya Ojima, and Atsuki Taneichi will also be participating. Lotte's veterans have not often participated in fall training in the past. Among them, Ishikawa, who joined the team this season as a free agent, said, "Looking at my results this year, it's obvious I can't take that much time off. I can take a break after baseball career is over, and this is my first year with The Marines, so I don't see any reason not to come or do it in many ways." He will also participate in fall training, which begins on the 29th, saying, "I was planning to approach fall training and camp with a positive attitude, so I guess it's just a matter of the environment and the fact that I have to do it myself, so I don't think anything will change."

At his inauguration press conference on the 8th, Manager Saburo warned, "I think the fall and spring camps will be tough." The first chapter of this hellish camp is finally about to begin, with the fall camp.
