Kojima commented through the team, "I will do my best to give it my all in the game and contribute to the team's win."
Kojima has pitched 35 innings in six games this season, with one win and three losses and ERA 2.83. In his last appearance against Softbank on May 4, he was taken out after four innings, 63 pitches, six hit, and two runs allowed.
