Tohoku Rakuten Atsuki Muto reached base in every at-bat.

Muto, the ninth batter and right fielder, made his first start of the season. In the top of the second inning, with two outs and no runner on base, he walked in his first at-Walk, and in the top of the fourth inning, he hit to center fielder field to create an opportunity. In the top of the sixth inning, he hit his second hit of the game, again creating an opportunity to Walk, and in his fourth at-bat, he walked, marking his first four at-bats in total.

Muto is in his sixth year as a pro. Last season, he only played in seven games, so this season he will be hoping to continue to show his skills on both offense and defense and win the fierce competition for outfielder.
