
On the 4th, Seibu announced that on Children's Day, May 5th, they will distribute "kids' gloves" designed by pitcher Natsuki Takeuchi to all children of elementary school age or younger who visit the game.
The eight home games at Belluna Dome, starting with the game against Orix on April 25th, will be held as a Family Festival. In the past, glove designed by players such as Sosuke Genda, Shuta Tonosaki, and Mitsunari pitcher have been distributed, and the gloves being distributed this time have been designed by pitcher Takeuchi, who was named the 2024 Pacific League Rookie of the Year.
Takeuchi commented through the team, "Starting this season, I wanted to have an impressive color, so I changed the color of my glove to purple. When I was little, I dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player, so I hope that this kids' glove will inspire as many children as possible to think that baseball is fun. I hope you will enjoy playing catch or playing with a ball using this kids' glove."
