On February 25th, the 2026 Miyazaki Baseball Spring Games were held at Sun Marine Stadium win with Saitama Seibu Lions Seibu Lions the Doosan Bears of South Korea 6-3.

In the bottom of the first inning, No. 2 Masashi Kuwahara got on base with hit, and No. 3 Seiya Watanabe followed with a hit to right hit. With two outs and runners on first and third, Kuwahara scored the first run during an error by the opposing battery.

In the bottom of the second inning, consecutive hits by Yuto Koga and Natsuo Takizawa put runners on second and third with one out, and Nishikawa added another run with a two-run timely hit. In the bottom of the fourth inning, rookie Shun Akiyama hit a two-run home run. In the bottom of the seventh inning, Takuya Hiruma 's hit led to an error, allowing the sixth run to score.

Meanwhile, seven pitcher took to the mound. Starting pitcher Mitsunari Takahashi allowed runner on base but pitched two runs innings. In the top of the third, second-string pitcher Masaya Kuroda allowed a timely doble to right-center field, but in the top of the fourth, Shota Hamaya retired all three pitcher. Starting in the sixth, Kaito Yoza closer the opposing pitcher runs for two innings, and Mikato Aoyama pitcher closer a close in the ninth.

The game went to the bottom of the ninth inning, with Saitama Seibu Lions win. Number 9 short stop and starting line-up Natsuo Takizawa had three hit and two stolen base, while number 5 left fielder Yuta Nakamitsu also made an impact with three hit.
