Today, January 23rd (Friday), Saitama Seibu Lions Natsuo Takizawa A replay of a player's first professional walk-off hit.
He didn't miss the golden opportunity and had a great game with 4 hit!
On May 17 against Orix Buffaloes, Takizawa entered the game starting line-up in the 2nd position second baseman and made 3 hit appearances until the 9th inning that day. However, the game was 2-2 going into the extra inning game. In the bottom of the 10th inning, Takizawa's best chance came.
Machado pitcher, the opponent's seventh baseman, had a control problem, and he faced a chance to bat with two outs bases loaded by 2 Hit by Pitch and 1 hit. The first and second pitches were off, hitter favoring count. He then bounced a ball down the middle, and the ball went right to the light in a flash. It was his first walk-off timely hit and his fourth hit of the day!
