On June 3, the second round of the 'Nippon Life Central-Pacific Interleague 2026' between Chunichi and Fukuoka Softbank held in Vantelin Dome ended 8-5 with Fukuoka Softbank win.

Here, Ryuta Hirose, who had his first starting line-up of the season, hit a go-ahead two-run single to break the deadlock. The next Ukyo Shuto player hit a ball that drew fielder’s choice, adding one more run.

In the bottom of the 11th, Taiga Kamichatani pitcher had runners on first and second out, but ultimately scored a look-out struck out to close out the game 8-5. They maintained their lead in interleague play with their longest six-game winning streak this season. Kondo and Hirose have marked 3 hit.
