Starting pitcher Jun Maeda pitched well, throwing 104 pitches over 7.1 innings, allowing 6 hit 1 hit Hit by Pitch 5 strike out 3 runs. The offense, led by Itua Ikhine with 2 hit 1 RBI, scored 6 hit on 7 hits in total to secure win.

Meanwhile, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles, who were defeated, saw their starting pitcher, Kenta Maeda, showcasing smooth preparations with 6.0 innings pitched, 85 pitches, 3 hit, 1 strike out Hit by Pitch strikeouts, and 2 runs allowed (1 earned runs).
