In the top of the 4th inning, with the score tied 0-0, Ryoya Kurihara hit Walk and Yuki Yanagita hit to reach first and third, and Yudai Yamamoto's sacrifice fly gave the team the first run to Fukuoka Softbank. Next, Taisei Makihara chose Walk, and with one out and runners on first and second, Hirose advanced to his second at-bat. He swung powerfully at the first pitch and carried it to left field bullpen.

◇ Comment from Hirose
"The one I hit was fork. It was a plate where I was given a chance, so I decided to swing aggressively and boldly. The result led to home run and my own batting. I'm glad I was able to score big runs and get results. I'll keep working hard to get into scoring and lead to victory."
