Orix Buffaloes Kosei Yoshida pitcher (25) started again. The right-hander, who underwent medial collateral ligament reconstruction surgery in his right elbow in March 25, returned to the mound in the red and white game on the 21st. Since the Rakuten Eagles match (Rakuten Eagles Mobile) on September 28, 24, he finished the actual mound for the first time in 511 days with a complete 1 strike out and smiled, saying, "I received a lot of applause, and I'm back...".

In 2012, his first year with Orix Buffaloes, he had 4 wins, 0 losses, 14 hold, and ERA 3.32 in 50 games. "My fastball and change-up were really good (at the time). I wanted to create another difference in the distance and the height of the ball," he said, focusing on practicing his curveball during his rehabilitation. On this day, with two outs, he threw a curveball as his first pitch to Yokoyama Satoshi, and with count at 1-1, he got him to strike out with a high fastball. "I wanted to have that kind of effect," he said, feeling confident about his accent pitch, but also mentioned his issues, saying, "At game level, my pitches were all over the place. I'll fix that in the next game."

"Things have been going really well up until now. It's all down to the hard work of the trainers," said Teruhoshi, humbly expressing his gratitude. "Once I can get the ball to go exactly where I want it to, I'll be able to swing my arm more. I want to keep pitching in games," he said, as he continues on the path to a full recovery, aiming to reach 150 km/h before the start of the season. (Nambu Shunta)
