Saitama Seibu 's Natsuo Takizawa Natsuo showed off some great defensive skills.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, with one out and no runner on base and trailing by one run, Kyuto Ueda hit a ball that looked like it would go through the gap between first and second base, but Takizawa jumped to get to it. He immediately got up and, despite falling to the ground, threw throw to first base, earning the out.

He has played in 114 games thus far, far surpassing his career high, and has become an indispensable player on both offense and defense, often hitting the ball at crucial moments.
