On the 16th, Seibu announced that it will hold The Lions Gourmet General Election "King of Shishimanma 2025" from August 1st to 31st, in which fans will vote to determine the No. 1 gourmet food at Belluna Dome.
Belluna Dome has over 1,000 types of food from about 70 stores, the most of any of the 12 teams. In this project, fans will be asked to choose up to nine Belluna Dome gourmet items, three for each of the three categories of "taste," "value for money," and "looks great," and the product that will take the title of "King of Shishimanma 2025" will be selected based on the overall score of the The Lions categories. There will also be prizes for voters, including 10 winners receiving a "The Lions Yaki" version of the "Big Chain Necklace," an item that is immensely popular among Lions fans. Voting can be done on the special website.
Coach Nishiguchi's comments are as follows.
"I've heard that the food at Belluna Dome is said to be the most varied and delicious of all 12 professional baseball teams. This season, I've entered the bento boxes I produced, and there are 70 different types of menu items, so I hope you'll all choose your favorite food and vote for it.
