Today, December 18th (Thursday), Hokkaido Nippon-Ham... Yua Tamiya Here are some spectacular plays that showcase the players' strong arms.

"Yua Beam" prevents stolen base!

First up is the 17th game against Fukuoka Softbank, held at MIZUHO PayPay Dome on August 9th. In the first inning, Ukyo Shuto, who got on base with hit, attempted to steal on the second pitch after one strike. It was a perfect start, but Tamiya immediately throw. With a sharp trajectory, it reached just before second base, successfully preventing stolen base! The fast-paced offense and defense captivated the fans from the very beginning of the game.

Next up is the 20th game Orix Buffaloes, held at ES CON FIELD on August 20th, from the top of the 9th inning. Trailing by one run, Orix Buffaloes sends in pinch runner Yusuke Mugitani. Mugitani starts running on the first pitch to the next hitter, but Tamiya's strong arm comes into play! He throws a perfect throw and catches Mugitani as he dives headfirst into second base. Pay attention to the dignified expression on his face after getting the out.

Tomorrow, Friday the 19th, we will feature Orix Buffaloes and Kenya Wakatsuki players hitting walk-off.
