On October 27th, Motonobu Tanishige and Tomoya Satozaki appeared on the official Pacific League TV YouTube channel's "Mondays at Patele" program and praised Tohoku Rakuten player Itsuki Murabayashi for his performance this season.

"Mondays at Patele" was started with the desire to create a time for professional baseball and Pacific League fans to enjoy even on Mondays, when there are fewer games. This week, Motonobu Tanishige and Tomoya Satozaki appeared, and selected "THE MAN" from each team as the player who made the biggest impact this season.

From Tohoku Rakuten, Tanishige chose Daisuke Nakashima, pitcher Naoto Nishiguchi, and player Murabayashi. He especially praised Murabayashi, saying, "Even though he lost his position, he worked hard and took it again, and on top of that, hitter for the batting title until the very end."

Next, Satozaki also selected Murabayashi, praising his performance throughout the season, saying, "He was a regular player last year and was even selected for the Premier 12 team, but he worked hard to have his position taken away unconditionally. It's quite unusual. If he hadn't produced results, there was a chance he would have just disappeared. Despite all that, he managed to get his regular spot back, and that shows his determination."
