Nippon-Ham and Ryota Isobata outfielder were selected as members of the Rugzas Samurai Japan Series 2025 Japan vs. Korea to be held on November 15 and 16 at Tokyo Dome.
Regarding his selection following last year's Premier 12, he said with a serious expression, "I'm honestly happy. But I can't just say I'm happy, because I also want to go to the main tournament in March, so I want to prepare so that I can do what is expected of me."
He is expected to do what he can as a foot specialist, but he said, "I will do what I can. I hope to be able to make an impact with a calm mind and determination. When people ask me about foot specialists, I always say Shuto-san, but I want to do my best so that they will say I'm not the only one."
