He has a total of 10 Home Run in the majors, including three consecutive home runs in a May 2011 game against the Yankees. Having joined the Athletics from their Triple-A affiliate, he began this season with the team's second team, but in 50 games with the first team he only had a batting average of .228 with two Home Run and six RBI. He was removed from the active roster on August 18th and has been training with the farm team since then. He left Japan on the 3rd of this month to return to Colombia.
