Hokkaido Nippon-Ham will hold a final pitch ceremony for Hirotoshi Masui, who retired after the 2022 season, before the game against Orix on Friday, April 4 at ES CON FIELD.

Masui joined the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham in 2010 and led the relievers by winning the reliever pitcher title in 2012. In 2016, he also started and posted double-digit win to help the team win the league title and lead the Japan. He played for Orix for five years from 2018 and became the first player in Pacific League history to make 150 saves and hold 150. In 13 years, he had 163 saves and 158 hold.
