On April 14th, in the farm team regular season between Hokkaido Nippon-Ham and Chunichi at The Fighters Kamagaya Stadium, Hokkaido Nippon-Ham win 3-0.

Hokkaido Nippon-Ham starting pitcher, Ren Fukushima, had a perfect start through the first three innings, allowing no hit, no Hit by Pitch, strike out six. In the top of the fourth inning, he allowed two hit and bases loaded Walk, loading the bases with one out, but managed to escape without runs. He continued to pitch effectively in crucial situations from the middle innings onward. He was relieved in the top of the seventh inning after recording two outs, finishing with 6.2 innings pitched, 96 pitches thrown, 5 hit 2 walks/ strike out Hit by Pitch no runs allowed.

The offense took the lead in the first inning with a solo home run by Martinez. In the bottom of the third inning, Martinez hit doble double to score the second run, and in the bottom of the fourth inning, Kazuki Miyazaki hit his second solo home run to make it 3-0. With two outs in the seventh inning, three relief pitcher held the opponent to just one hit and no Hit by Pitch, ending the game. Martinez and Miyazaki each recorded two hit, including Home Run.
