On May 30, the second round of the 'Nippon Life Central-Pacific Interleague 2026' between Orix Buffaloes and Chunichi held in Kyocera Dome Osaka ended 3-1 with Orix Buffaloes win.

In the bottom of the 1st, leadoff player Keita Nakagawa reached base at doble, and with one out, Kotaro Kobayashi hit his sixth two-run homer to take the lead.
