Professional baseball 12 teams and Pokémon have teamed up to hold the "Pokemon Baseball Festa 2026 ~30 years of thoughts on the ball~". Special Pokemon production matches and original goods will be sold.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the release of "Pokémon Red and Green", which is loved all over the world. This time, as a special project for the 30th anniversary of Pokemon, a special tag team with 12 professional baseball teams has been realized.

At the kickoff presentation of the "Pokémon 30th Anniversary, Beginning" held on February 26th, it was announced that this event would be held with a message from The Giants Masahiro Tanaka pitcher. Twelve Pikachus in jersey of 12 teams decorated the stage.

The six Pacific League teams will also be holding special Pokémon-themed games at their stadiums, selling original merchandise featuring Pikachu dressed in team jersey and each team's partner Pokémon, and holding special "Pokémon GO" events. Pikachu is also scheduled to visit each stadium during the special games.

Details of the original merchandise will be announced on each team's official website in due course. The lineup of merchandise already announced includes the classic jersey (Orix Buffaloes) and cap (Chiba Lotte Marines), as well as towels featuring photos of players with Pikachu (Tohoku Rakuten Eagles) and Saitama Seibu Lions 's popular supporter item, the "big chain necklace."
