On August 5, in the second round of the farm regular season Orix Buffaloes against Oisix Niigata held in Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium Maishima, Orix Buffaloes win 7-5.

Orix Buffaloes Starting pitcher Kazuma Sato pitcher took runner in the first inning with an error and a hit, and gave up 4 runs with a two-run doble by Ryo Watanabe and Keita Sonobe. He also gave up a timely hit to Watanabe in the top of the second, and on that day, he threw 96 pitches, 7 hit, 3 walks Hit by Pitch 5 strike out 5 runs (earned runs 1) and was taken out of the game. From the 4th to 2 inning, Hiroto Suga pitcher connects 1 hit without runs.

The lineup scored a runner in the bottom of the first with a Walk, and a timely doble by player Yutaro Sugimoto scored a run. In the bottom of the fifth, a wild pitch and Sugimoto's fifth two-run homer scored to narrow the gap to 4-5 by one run. In the bottom of the seventh, leadoff player Yusuke Mugitani hit a hit, and with stolen base and a base-riding single, they reached third with one out. Pinch hitter Masahiro Nishino tied the game with a sacrifice fly.

In the bottom of the eighth, Ho Naito hit, Yosuke Kubota Walk, and Koji Oshiro sacrifice bunt, with one out and runners on second and third, and with two outs and a wild pitch and Haruto Mikata 's timely hit, they went ahead with two runs. In the top of the ninth, Matthew pitcher retired three batters in order, ending the game 7-5. Mikata had a 3-hit RBI and 1 , and Sugimoto had 2 hit 3 RBI including Home Run.
