On July 3, in the 15th game between Farm regular season Orix Buffaloes and Hiroshima held in Sugimotoshoji Buffaloes Stadium Maishima, Orix Buffaloes won convincingly 7-4.

In the top of the 1st inning, starter Kyosuke Saito pitcher gave up the lead with a timely doble by Yujin Nakata, but the Orix Buffaloes lineup quickly counterattacked. In the bottom of the 1st, with one out and runners on first and second, Yutaro Sugimoto hit a go-ahead three-run homer to left.

However, in the top of the fourth, pitcher Saito caused trouble with a series of hits, and a teammate's error allowed them to score a run. In the top of the fifth, with one out and runners on second and third, the game was tied between infield grounders, and Shunsuke Tamura hit a go-ahead RBI hit, taking the lead 3-4.

However, in the bottom of the fifth, the lineup rallied again. With one out, Yusuke Mugitani reached base at hit, and the next batters connected with consecutive Walk to make it bases loaded one out. Sugimoto tied the game with a bases-loaded Walk, and Ho Naito hit a two-run single to take the lead 6-4. Yosuke Kubota also hit a timely hit, giving the team a 4-run lead in this inning.

In the latter half of the game, he held away with a reliever Orix Buffaloes pitching. Starting pitcher pitcher Saito pitched 7 hit 2 Walk 3 strike out 4 runs (earned runs 2) in 5 innings, but the lineup was in double digits hit to provide support. Seiya Yokoyama had 3 hit, Naito 2 hit 2 RBI, Kubota 2 hit 1 RBI, and Sho Gibo 2 hit.
