On July 22, in the 11th round of the Farm regular season against Oisix Niigata Tohoku Rakuten Eagles held in Shinrindori Stadium Izumi, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles came from behind to win 9-7.

Starting pitcher Seiya Ouchi pitcher faced a bases loaded crisis with one out from the first inning and allowed Shun Takayama to hit a go-ahead RBI single. In the top of the second inning, he carried runner in scoring position and gave up four runs on three RBI hits. From the third inning onward, he pitched all five innings with zeros on the scoreboard, but that day he went 10 hit 2 Walk 4 strike out 5 runs.

In the bottom of the sixth, Tohoku Rakuten Eagles trailed by 5 runs but scored one run with consecutive doble by Watts and Shoya Sakagami. With one out and a runner on third, they scored the second run between Shion Otsubo 's infield grounder. However, in the top of the seventh inning, with the second pitcher Taisei Ito pitcher inning the second , the runs was played. The lead was once again reduced to five runs.

In the bottom of the eighth, with the score tied 2-7, the Tohoku Rakuten Eagles lineup launched a fierce comeback. With two outs, Sakagami and Yukiya Ito both scored home run in a row. With two outs and runners on first and third, Kyosuke Kaneko hit a timely hit to narrow the gap to two runs. With two outs and bases loaded, Toshiya Osakae hit a two-run doble to tie the game. Then, with Taiga Shimahara doble in the following timely hit, they took the lead.

After turning the game around with a big inning, Chia-Hao Sung pitcher closed the game in the top of the ninth inning. Tohoku Rakuten Eagles won the game in a batting battle with both teams scoring double-digit hit. Sakagami, the leadoff hitter and his fourth solo homer, threw a 3-hit 2-RBI, while Daiei and Shimabara posted 2-hit 2-RBI.
